My name is Ben, and I am a 31 year old (as of this writing anyway) man living in West Texas. I love reading, especially theology and philosophy. Right now I am on a big reading growth spurt, having just recently gotten into the idea of sustainable farming. I am really enjoying reading Wendell Berry and Michael Pollan. I have recently started a garden and hope to start growing much of my family’s food in the upcoming years, and possibly start venturing into the world of farming and ranching. I would love to become what Joel Salatin refers to himself as, a “grass farmer”.
Politically, I like to think of myself as a free thinking conservative. Religiously, I am a deeply committed Christian, attending the Lutheran Church.
